Welcome to Sarah Challis Counselling
In addition to my prviate counselling practice where I work with adults online and in person, I see clients at two counselling agencies in Wokingham and Reading, Berkshire.
I am also regularly involved in community events within the South East, sometimes in partnership with other organisations. I talk to people about how counselling
can support them to make positive life changes that will reduce feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, stress and depression.
As an advocate for mental health services, I believe it's important to learn from other organisations and individuals about how best to support people with mental health difficulties within the community.

I generally recommend coming to counselling every week to offer regular support and help clients achieve conisistent progress.
For some clients this isn't always possible. I understand counselling is a comittment of your time and finances.
With this in mind, I also offer sessions every other week and
for some clients, a monthly check-in.
I also offer some sessions at a reduced rate. Click on 'frequently asked questions' at the top of the page for more information. I am more than happy to answer any
questions you may have.

Once you leave a therapy session, it is helpful to allow yourself time to process feelings or emotions that may
have come up for you.
You might want to think about what you have learned about yourself, practice some self care or find ways to help settle your thoughts in between sessions.
I often share some of my tips to help boost low mood, manage stress and other information you might find useful. Click on the 'my blog' section at the top of the page.
