What can I expect at my first counselling session?
You don't need to prepare anything in advance. You are welcome to show up as you are and go at your own pace. You can talk about whatever you want to and feel comfortable sharing.

We can talk about what has bought you to counselling, begin to understand your needs and discuss what you might like to achieve.
I will explain some of the practical aspects of counselling; confidentiality and safety, boundaries, cancellation policy, frequency of sessions, fees and payments. You are welcome to ask as many questions as you want to.

Trust, care, respect and honesty form the foundation of my counselling approach.
Seeing a counsellor is an investment, personally and financially, so it is important to find the right therapist for you.
I will listen without judgement, in a relaxed and safe space, so you feel understood and validated.
